I perched my easel on a wooded ridge trail overlooking the river through the trees below. This made for a lovely spot to do an acrylic on canvas. Working for almost an hour, I decided to take a break and sit down on a fallen tree trunk, taking a minute first to look around for any creepy crawling bugs.🕷🕸 But to my surprise, a nest of angry ants came out from the tree only to bite my legs, sending me to jump forward then stumbling into my easel and trays full of wet paint. 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜

AuthorI feel as if my artwork gives the viewer an insight into my life's journey. This is most evident in a plein air painting, where I can reflect back to a time and location. My sketchbooks tell a different story of thoughts and ideas scribbled within my drawing and painting studies. Archives
